files that enter our preprint studio go through pre-flight checks to ensure the
best possible result for our clients.
When setting up files for us please refer to the information below to ensure optimum final output.
We like to keep up with the latest software and are constantly updating our RIP and design software on both MAC and PC platforms. Our design and preprint team use the latest in PDF workflow technology.

Our preferred method for receiving files for Wide Format Digital Printing is Adobe PDF format - native file collection is also recommended.

Please read through the below tips prior to setting up your digital files.
- Document / Page size must be set up to the edges of artwork- Bleed allocations can be made but check with us on required bleed, as it is dependent on job and media.
- Photoshop files should ideally be saved as *Tiff or *Eps files. LZW compression is fine .
- Photoshop / Raster images should be placed into Illustrator, Freehand or InDesign - all links should be attached and not embedded.
- Please convert all text to paths / outlines or supply complete fonts in 'collect for output' and 'package' features of your design programs.
- Strokes / outlines should also be converted to paths.
- Overprints must be switched off
- Please list all colours used within files. All files should be CMYK, if PMS matching is required please let us know all of the PMS colours and we will endeavor to match as closely as possible. (Open native files are required for colour matching)
- Please also include a hard copy colour proof of final job.
- PDF files are suitable providing they are set up correctly - we are able to assist with correct settings.
- For resolution information specific to your job please contact us. Ideally we ask for 300dpi at 100% of final output size. - For larger format graphics a 10% scale is preferred with resolution set at 300-500dpi.
